What affects facial balance?
Faces lose volume and structure with age, and some features, like a weaker chin or an uneven profile, are simply how we’re made. Facial balancing treats your face as a whole rather than one feature at a time.

What it is
A hollow or groove between the lower eyelid and cheek that casts a shadow, making you look tired even after a good night's sleep.
What causes it
Loss of volume and thinning skin around the eyes with age, plus genetics. Some people have tear troughs from their twenties.
How we treat it
Tear trough filler restores volume under the eyes. Polynucleotides strengthen and thicken thin under-eye skin and help with dark circles.
Flat cheeks & templesVolume loss in the cheeks and temples
What it is
Cheeks that have flattened and temples that look hollow, making the face look older, thinner or more tired.

What it is

What it is

Nose hump or drooping tipBumps, a flat bridge or a low tip
What it is
A bump on the bridge of the nose, a drooping tip or a flat bridge that you'd like to straighten without surgery.
What causes it
Genetics, injury, and ageing, which can cause the tip to drop over time.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty (a liquid nose job) uses carefully placed filler to smooth bumps, lift the tip and straighten the profile, with no surgery or downtime.

What it is
More of the upper gum shows than you would like when you smile.
What causes it
An overactive muscle that lifts the upper lip too high.
How we treat it
A small amount of anti-wrinkle treatment relaxes that muscle, so the lip sits lower and less gum shows. Results appear in 1 to 2 weeks.

What it is
Features that feel out of balance, such as a small chin with a prominent nose, or one side of the face fuller than the other.
What causes it
Natural facial structure, uneven volume loss and ageing.
How we treat it
Facial balancing plans small changes across the chin, jawline, cheeks, lips and nose to bring features into proportion, rather than treating one area alone.
Over-filled or migrated fillerFiller that has moved or looks overdone
What it is
Filler that has spread beyond where it was placed, or leaves lips or cheeks looking overfilled.
What causes it
Too much filler, the wrong product for the area, or poor placement.
How we treat it
We can dissolve hyaluronic acid filler with hyaluronidase, which usually works within hours to days. Once settled, we can re-treat if you wish.

What is facial balancing?
Facial balancing treats your face as a whole. Small changes to the chin, jawline, cheeks, lips or nose bring your features into proportion, rather than changing one feature on its own.
When will I see results?
Dermal filler results are visible immediately. Sculptra works gradually over several weeks as new collagen forms.
Is there any downtime?
Mild swelling, bruising or redness at the injection sites is common and typically resolves within a few days. Avoid massaging the area, strenuous activity and excessive heat for 24 to 48 hours.
How long does filler last?
Dermal filler typically lasts 6 to 12 months, depending on the filler and the area treated. Sculptra results can last up to two years.
How long does treatment take?
Filler usually takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on the areas treated. Sculptra takes 30 to 45 minutes.
